Beer is great and you can pet/feed a mini highland cow, donkey, and goats, how can you not love this place. We came up from So Cal and had a wonderful experience, will be visiting again sometime.

This place is so cool! It's a brewery inside of a barn that also has outdoor seating with goats you can feed! They also have a turf area with corn hole! This place allows you to bring your dogs and they even provide a water bowl since we forgot ours! We ordered the Mexican beer and the mango seltzer. 10/10! Definitely will be back!

Whenever my in-laws come down from Santa Rosa, it's a given that we'll end up at Goathouse Brewing Co. My pseudo father-in-law has a borderline fanatical love for the place. It's become such a ritual that I'm starting to think he visits us just for the beer and the goats! Last Sunday, we chose to visit the Placer Wine Trail, home to Goathouse Brewing Company, situated just off Wise Road. They've made some alterations to the layout since our last visit. The outdoor seating area has been expanded, and the food truck is now positioned right next to the outer fence, which simplifies the ordering process. In addition to the reconfigured seating area, they also have a place to play cornhole. The goats remain in the same area, and true to their nature, they wander along the enclosure's fence line, seeking out people to feed them. Aside from the beer, this is one of the aspects of this place that my father-in-law appreciates the most. Regarding the main tasting room, they offer a wide selection of beers on tap. Generally, I gravitate towards either the lighter, non-hoppy varieties or the richer, darker beers. My father-in-law tends to follow my lead when ordering. I'm somewhat limited in what I can share about their beer menu, but I can say that the ones I've sampled have been excellent. The parking area consists of a dirt lot, and there seems to be ample space since I've rarely had trouble finding a spot. However, I can imagine it might become difficult to park on particularly busy days. Overall, it's a nice place to go for an outing, see some goats, enjoy the weather and to enjoy a nice cold one.

This is a favorite to visit on a sunny day and visit with the goats. It is a family and dog friendly place. There are new owners and they were very friendly and gave us some ideas on what to try. You can bring your own food and some weekends they have food trucks. We brought food but the food truck was a little late but very busy once they were set up. New things to try but some old favorites were still available.

We all had such a great time at this unique brewery! We love that they grow their own hops, citrus etc. for their brews that are made in-house. Mighty good selection too! Everything we tried was great! My favorite was the "kilt dropper"! They have goats, you can buy a bag of feed for the kids to feed them. Very friendly goats and even a mini donkey! The kids had a great time with them. They have some seating inside and more seating outside in the back. It was a great, relaxed and family friendly atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable with beer selections. We will definitely be visiting again and brining the kiddos! Almost forgot to mention that they have food trucks on the weekends! Very good food!!!

Such a fun brewery!! Definitely a great spot to go if you have kids. They have goats that the kids can pet. You can buy food to feed them. Some delicious beer options. If you're not a beer person they have seltzers too. Food truck was onsite. Can't remember which one but it had fried chicken sandwiches. So good!!! Great scenery. They have a large pond off to the side. Cute little barn that houses the brewery. Friendly staff.
